In Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Oblast, two abandoned stadiums have been put up for sale. The first site is in Mayakovsky Park of Culture, formerly owned by the Kamensk Technological Institute. The plot covers 2.75 hectares, with a building of 143 square meters and a structure of 2,400 square meters. As stated in the listing on Domo.RF (DOM.RF):
«The surroundings consist mainly of a municipal forest park zone. The property is the asset complex of a former sports stadium. Public transport stops are 900 meters away.»

The second stadium, named Progress, is located near Victory Park in the Likhovskoy microdistrict. The seller is Russian Railways (RZD), and the plot area is 41,300 square meters. The listing states:
«The plot is suitable for residential, business, or commercial development. A school, clinic, and railway technical school are within walking distance.»
The auction for Progress Stadium will begin on February 26 with a starting price of 5.4 million rubles (approximately $54,000 at current rates).
There is another Progress Stadium in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, built in the mid-20th century and considered the city«s main stadium. After a long period of neglect, 42 million rubles ($420,000) were allocated for its reconstruction in 2025, with completion expected in 2027.
