Tomskvodokanal Starts Water Supply After Accident on Sibirskaya Street
A morning pipeline failure in Tomsk disrupted cold water access for over 600 apartment buildings.
Tomskvodokanal has started the cold water supply system at the accident site on Sibirskaya Street. If no problems arise, specialists will begin filling the system, the company«s press service reported.
«Tomskvodokanal reports the launch of the cold water supply system to possibly identify defects during the repair of the damage,» the company said.
They clarified that if no defects are found, the gradual filling of the system will begin.
This morning, a utility accident on Sibirskaya left residents of over 600 apartment buildings without cold water. Specialists from Tomskvodokanal promise that water will return to homes by 21:00. During this time, water delivery has been organized for residents. Water trucks will be stationed from 11:00 at Sibirskaya, 81 and near the building at Lva Tolstogo 38B (on the Sibirskaya side). Due to the accident, several schools in the area switched to remote learning.
