Three injured in three Novgorod region crashes
The first accident was recorded at 01:20 on the 557th kilometer of the M-10 Rossiya federal highway in Chudovsky district. A 1992-born driver of a FAW truck, while turning left at a regulated intersection, failed to yield and collided with a GAZelle-3105 driven by a man born in 1975. The GAZelle driver sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized by an ambulance team to GOBUZ «NOKB» (Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital).
The second incident occurred at 10:30 in Borovichi on Zagorodnaya Street. A 1966-born driver of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter struck a pedestrian — a woman born in 1948 — who was crossing the road at an unmarked crosswalk. The victim was taken with injuries to GOBUZ «Novgorod Emergency Medical Station».
The third accident happened at 17:50 in Veliky Novgorod on Germana Street. A young man born in 2002, driving a VAZ-2110, failed to account for weather conditions, lost control, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided with a Renault Sandero driven by a woman born in 2006. The Renault driver, showing symptoms of a concussion, was taken to GOBUZ «NOKB» (Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital).
