SVO Volunteer Leader in Perm Dies After Long Illness

Elena Sushintseva collected humanitarian aid and delivered it to the special military operation zone.
Elena Sushintseva, one of the leaders of the volunteer movement in the Perm Krai, has died. She helped participants of the special military operation and organized humanitarian aid shipments.
Sushintseva passed away on 18 January, according to a post in the VKontakte group of the Perm tank battalion «Molot». She is survived by her mother, sister, and older son.
Another group, «Strength in Brotherhood — 59 — Veterans of the Perm Krai», clarified that Elena Sushintseva died after a long illness. They stated that the Perm resident was a leader of the volunteer movement in the Perm Krai and the ideological inspiration and founder of the charitable foundation «Resource», based in the settlement of Mulyanka. Elena personally collected, assembled, and escorted humanitarian convoys to the special military operation zone.
«She lived for this volunteer work and the fierce desire to help our fighters on the front lines of the special military operation, for which many of our fellow countrymen at the front are grateful to her,» the group said.
