Survey Ranks Top Extra Rooms for Families in Tyumen

When you are parents, an apartment is not just a cozy nest, but primarily a functional space. To make every family member feel comfortable, when choosing living space it is important to consider everyone«s needs.

Federal developer Strana Development Group conducted a survey among a thousand current and potential clients from Tyumen, Yekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk to find out which additional rooms are needed for a family with children.

38% of respondents named a second bathroom as a basic minimum. Its presence helps reduce morning queues and getting ready. Also, a second bathroom can be used as a laundry room.

In second place is parking, cited by 25% of respondents. A personal parking space in a covered garage offers both convenience and savings in time and family budget. To take a child to daycare, you do not need to go out early, clear snow from the car, and warm it up.

This year, Strana Development celebrates its 20th anniversary. Over these years, thousands of Tyumen families have personally experienced the comfort of covered parking. When buying an apartment in the developer’s projects, you can get a parking space as a gift.

20% said that a family-format apartment should have a dressing room or closet niche, which prevents cluttering the room space with storage furniture.

Pantry (8%), balcony or loggia (5%), home office (3%), other rooms (1%) — that completed the list of additional rooms for a family apartment, according to survey participants.

All survey participants noted that when choosing a new apartment, they also pay attention to proximity to social facilities, playgrounds, and the safety of the surrounding area.
