Last year, the Republic of Bashkortostan completed repairs on 12.3 kilometers of the Sterlitamak–Raevsky highway. The work was carried out under the national project Infrastruktura dlya Zhizni (Infrastructure for Life). Three sections in the Alsheyevsky and Sterlitamaksky districts were brought to standard condition. Road services performed a set of measures that included:

  • strengthening the road base;
  • renewing the asphalt concrete pavement;
  • applying road markings.

Minister of Transport and Road Management of Bashkortostan Lyubov Minakova emphasized the importance of this route: «The Sterlitamak–Raevsky route plays an important role for residents of Sterlitamak, the Alsheyevsky and Sterlitamaksky districts. About 360,000 people live there. This road allows them to reach Sterlitamak and connect to the federal highway R-240 Ufa–Orenburg. In addition, this direction attracts tourists. Residents and guests of the republic can get to the mountains Susaktau, Satyrtau, and Narystau, as well as holy springs.» The Sterlitamak–Raevsky road is part of the region«s core network. In 2026, an additional 6 kilometers of this route are planned to be repaired. In total, under the national project Infrastruktura dlya Zhizni (Infrastructure for Life) in 2025, over 221 kilometers of roads belonging to the core network were brought to standard condition in Bashkortostan.
