After several weeks of restrictions, queues, and empty gas stations, the fuel situation in St. Petersburg has started to improve. Residents share their fresh observations.
A St. Petersburg resident, Alyona, said she filled 48 liters to a full tank at a gas station at 70 Revolution Highway, at the intersection with Pyotr Smorodin Street. According to her, six pumps were working, and there was no queue. AI-95 gasoline was available, but AI-95 EKTO was not. Prepayment was also canceled: you fill up first, then pay.
Denis reported filling up in Losevo (Leningrad Region), outside the city. He noted that the last three weeks were tense — half-hour queues, if there was any gasoline at all. Sometimes only diesel was left. They did not dispense more than 20 liters at a time, but you could fill up several times in a row, strictly with prepayment. However, yesterday he just drove up, chose a free pump, filled with AI-92 to a full tank, and paid without any restrictions.
