St. Petersburg faces cooler weather and rain on Tuesday

On July 20, St. Petersburg will be on the northeastern periphery of a cyclone moving from the Baltic region. This forecast was given by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
Cloud cover in the city will increase, and the northeastern wind will strengthen. The probability of precipitation will remain low—only in the south of Leningrad Oblast are local showers possible.
Due to clouds and northerly winds, the air will not warm to the climatic norm. In St. Petersburg, temperatures of +19 to +21 °C (66-70 °F) are expected, in Leningrad Oblast +16 to +21 °C (61-70 °F), and in the south of the region up to +24 °C (75 °F).
The northeastern wind will blow at a speed of 5–10 m/s. Atmospheric pressure will be around 760 mmHg, which is close to normal.
On Tuesday, July 21, rains will pass through St. Petersburg. At night, the temperature will drop to +12 to +14 °C (54-57 °F), during the day no higher than +15 to +17 °C (59-63 °F).
