Slobodskoy District Holds Safety Inscriptions Campaign

In the Slobodskoy District of the Kirov Region, inspectors of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) together with volunteers conducted a «Safety Inscriptions» campaign. As part of the event, warning messages were applied to sidewalks.

Using stencils and special paint, phrases such as «Only on foot!», «Take off your headphones», and «Hold your child»s hand« were painted on the pavement. These inscriptions were placed near schools and other educational institutions, as well as in crowded areas. The unusual informational messages are designed to attract the attention of pedestrians and remind them of the need for safe behavior on the road. Volunteers who participated supported the police initiative and expressed confidence that such warnings help develop safe road behavior skills in citizens.
