Red October Workers Attend Metallurgists' Family Meeting in Moscow

Employees of the Red October metallurgical plant participated in the industry meeting «Metallurgists» Family — 2025«. At the event, which is annually organized by the Central Council of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union of Russia, the Volgograd enterprise was represented by the family of Dmitry Novikov and Anna Biryukova.

The trip to the capital as a whole family during the New Year holidays was the main prize for winning the plant«s trade union competition »Metallurgists« Family — 2025», in which Dmitry and Anna participated together with their sons.

The program of the industry meeting was extensive, with various activities prepared for guests, including a number of cultural events.

«It was an exciting journey that will remain in our memory for a long time. We not only had a great time as a family but also made new friends among colleagues from other cities,» shared Anna. «Thank you to our plant and the trade union for the opportunity to show the children a real fairy tale, which New Year»s Moscow is always filled with.«

The «Metallurgists» Family« competition at Red October has been held for the third year in a row. Traditionally, the event is organized by the trade union committee together with the plant administration.

«This competition promotes the values we adhere to: family, labor, continuity — and helps employees realize that their family traditions and achievements are inseparable from work, receiving recognition and support from the enterprise,» said Yuri Lutchenkov, chairman of the plant«s trade union organization.

Over the time the competition has been held at Red October, a tradition has developed — the «family» ticket to Moscow is presented to the winners by colleagues who held the title «Metallurgists» Family« the year before.
