Police Service-Applied Sports Competition in Tambov
On July 17, 2026, the Dynamo Stadium hosted individual-team competitions in service-applied sports among Tambov police officers, organized by the regional UMVD.

The competitions were held in the discipline «Triathlon» among 17 physical culture teams, with a total of 34 employees participating. The teams were divided into two groups.

Participants demonstrated skills in shooting from a Makarov pistol, performing combat fighting techniques, and running a distance of 1000 meters. The event aims to improve physical and combat readiness, as well as strengthen team spirit and interaction between units.

In the team standings, the prize places were distributed as follows. In the first group: 1st place — UMVD of Russia for Tambov, 2nd — UGIBDD UMVD, 3rd — OMVD of Russia «Tambovsky». In the second group: 1st place — OMVD of Russia for Kotovsk, 2nd — BPPPSP UMVD of Russia for Tambov, 3rd — OMVD of Russia «Zherdevsky».

In the individual championship among men under 35, the winner was an inspector of OSB DPS GIBDD, second was a specialist of the professional training group of UMVD of Russia for Tambov, third was an inspector of OBPPSP UMVD of Russia for Tambov. Among men 35 years and older, the leader was an employee of UMVD of Russia for Tambov, second place — an employee of OMVD of Russia for Kotovsk, third — an employee of OMVD of Russia «Zherdevsky».
