On the Central Square of the city, the dismantling of New Year structures has begun. According to the Tolyatti administration, the first stage of a large-scale improvement of the main public space has started.
«During the holidays we all saw how in demand it is by residents. The area will continue to develop. Therefore, I ask you not to be surprised when over the next few days we begin dismantling the New Year equipment. Immediately after that, a construction site will unfold here — a large-scale renovation will begin,» said Tolyatti Mayor Ilya Sukhikh.
The head of Tolyatti added that due to the short construction season, dismantling and excavation work must be completed by spring.
«We want Central Square to greet residents on next New Year«s Eve in a completely different, renewed appearance,» the mayor said. It is known that the landscape of the Central Square will be changed and a fountain will be installed.
