Passengers Stranded as Nordwind Flight to Sharm el-Sheikh Delayed

The departure of a Nordwind airline aircraft has been delayed for a day. The delay occurred due to a technical malfunction of the aircraft.

Flight N4-3357 of Nordwind airline, traveling from Yekaterinburg«s Koltsovo Airport to Sharm el-Sheikh, has been delayed for a day. Passengers were supposed to depart on vacation on the night of January 20 at 04:55.

The departure time was changed twice. Initially, it was moved to 8 a.m. on January 20, then to 04:20 on January 21. Now, departure is scheduled for January 21 at 08:00.

«First, the plane was delayed until 8 a.m., then they announced until 04:20 the next day. Now, departure is planned for January 21 at 08:00. Nordwind company says only one thing: preparation for the flight is underway,» said one of the passengers.

The press service of Koltsovo Airport declined to comment on the reasons for the delay. Nordwind airline initially did not provide explanations.

Later, Nordwind reported that the delay of flight N4-3357 occurred due to a technical issue with the aircraft.
