Each new day brings farmers another urgent task. Under such conditions, it«s easy to postpone equipment upgrades until a serious breakdown, switching to new varieties until yields drop, and plant protection measures until noticeable losses occur. Thus, instead of development, a farm rescue mode begins.

The exhibition program is designed for managers, agronomists, machine operators, engineers, and livestock breeders.

On July 24, at the Field Day 2026 exhibition, farmers are offered not another parade of achievements, but a working day for strategic decisions: where to invest money and how to reduce losses, which varieties to introduce, how to change technology, and, moreover, they can discuss all pressing issues directly with representatives of the regional Ministry of Agriculture. The program is designed not only for managers. There is a route for agronomists, machine operators, engineers, and livestock breeders.

Calculate equipment upgrades before the next breakdown stops harvesting

At the Field Day exhibition, tractors, combines, tillage units, and self-propelled sprayers will be shown under working load. The machines will perform real technological operations, and machine operators will be able to get behind the wheel and evaluate them not only on the exhibition grounds.

Dealers and manufacturers such as Agrotsentr, AgrokombUral, CHELYABAGOSNAB, Zarya, SPETSAGRO, ChKZ-Agro, TRAKTOR, and Yevropeyskaya Agrotekhnika — Ural, among others, will work on one site.

Efficiency means saved liters of diesel fuel in each working day

Assessing maneuverability and ease of control of harvesting equipment is important. But it is equally important to choose more powerful models with less engine load. And this is no longer about abstract «efficiency improvement,» but about real fuel savings.

In addition to tractors and combines, stone-picking machines, grain dryers, and other solutions that directly affect work timelines and crop losses will be shown. Dealers will also have equipment options at 2024 prices.

You won«t get far without fuel and spare parts

At the Field Day exhibition, you can negotiate with trusted suppliers. Fuels and lubricants will be presented by MagTorg, Zavod Smazochnykh Materialov Devon, and SPD Group. Spare parts and components — by NPO Ural, Rosberg MTK, Uvelsky Agropromsnab, Agrotekhkomplekt, and Uralskaya Podshipnikovaya Kompaniya.

Varieties for the Urals: which grain can withstand weather swings

On the experimental plots of the Chelyabinsk Research Institute of Agriculture, new breeding products adapted to the capricious Ural climate will be presented — promising varieties that are disease-resistant, have high grain quality, and high yield potential. Leading scientists will conduct tours of the breeding plots.

In addition to the institute«s novelties, the exhibition will feature a wide selection of seeds from leading Russian and foreign producers. Breeding and seed centers will present their products: SITNO (Magnitogorsk), Shchelkovo Agrokhim (representative office in Chelyabinsk), Agroliga (representative office in Chelyabinsk), Kurgan Semena (Kurgan), RUSID (Krasnodar), EkoNiva-Semena (Voronezh), and others.

If rains have already changed the situation in the fields

In June, some areas of Chelyabinsk Oblast received up to 400% of the monthly precipitation norm. The moisture reserve creates preconditions for a good harvest, but simultaneously increases phytosanitary risks. According to a representative of the company Shchelkovo Agrokhim, Alexei Grekov, last year fungicide treatments were carried out on about 5–7% of sunflower areas. This season — already on almost 50%.

At the Field Day exhibition, farms will be able to discuss the condition of crops with technologists from plant protection and fertilizer manufacturers. Solutions will be presented by Shchelkovo Agrokhim, Avgust, Syngenta, PhosAgro, and other companies.

Money not only in profit, but also in savings

Most farms cannot directly influence the cost of fuel, fertilizers, equipment, or product sales prices. Therefore, they have to look for reserves within the community: sharing expensive equipment and achieving more favorable purchasing conditions.

A project session on agricultural cooperation will be devoted to these issues. Specialists from Chelyabinsk and Tyumen oblasts will explain how farm associations help collectively purchase and use equipment, form large batches of products, organize storage and processing, and reduce procurement and logistics costs.

The practical purpose of the session is to understand where cooperation can truly improve the farm«s economics.

Not records, but results from each hectare

As part of the business program of Field Day, a plenary session titled «Efficiency of Field Crop Production in the Conditions of the Southern Urals» will be held. The discussion will be not about yield per se, but about how to obtain an effective economic result from each hectare.

The program includes reports on high-tech crop production, UAV use, variety renewal, and certification. Representatives from Rosselkhoznadzor, the Federal Research Center of Biological Systems and Agrotechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, agricultural holdings, and other leading organizations will speak. And most importantly — top officials from the regional Ministry of Agriculture will be within arm«s reach. You can ask questions about state support, subsidies, and fuel without scheduling an appointment a month in advance.

Fair, festival, and Niva car raffle

Guests can expect a farmer and artisan fair. For the first time, the Field Day exhibition will host a festival of the peoples of the Southern Urals — you can try dishes from the region«s national cuisines.

A new feature this year is a raffle for a Niva car from the exhibition partner, Zerlok.

Participation in the raffle is free, but you must provide documents according to the list. More details on the organizer«s website: remember-palpable-oak.tilda.ws.
