Data on the ages of the youngest and oldest mothers in Tyumen Region this year is not yet available. However, according to the latest data, the age of the oldest woman to give birth is known.
“The oldest woman in labor was 49 years old,” the Department of Health of Tyumen Region said briefly.
How she became pregnant — naturally or through IVF — and which child this is for her, is unknown.

“The youngest minor to terminate a pregnancy in 2024 and 2025 was 14 years old,” the department told 72.RU.

This happened in late June and early July: their sutures became inflamed, and fluid and pus accumulated in them. Because of this, some were never discharged from the hospital after giving birth, even though nearly a month had passed. Others had to be urgently hospitalized and sent back under the knife.
