As 2026 approaches, we asked people on the streets of Nizhny Novgorod about their New Year's resolutions, capturing their hopes from new jobs to finding companionship.

Quit smoking, change jobs, go on a trip: as the New Year approaches, many make promises to themselves. We went out to ask Nizhny Novgorod residents what they wish for themselves in 2026. Watch their answers in the NN.RU video.

— I want to find a new job where work brings pleasure, drives me, and where I can realize myself, where I am valued, respected, and inspired. [Find] a good team, good friends, loyal friends, — said Anastasia.

— Well, to find an old lady and stroll with her in the park. I«m an accordionist — I»d sing a song, play the accordion, I even have an accordion, — noted Vladimir Alexandrovich.

— Nothing, I no longer make plans, I go with the flow, — explained Timofey.

— To be healthy, to have enough strength for my family. Family is everything, and I don«t need anything more, — shared Elena.
