Nizhny Novgorod Districts with Most Snow Removal Fines

Authorities have released statistics on snow removal violations in the courtyards of Nizhny Novgorod. Andrey Buzin, head of the Administrative-Technical and Municipal Control Department, disclosed which districts have the most administrative cases initiated during a meeting of the city council«s commission on urban economy.
According to Buzin, since the start of the season, 3,930 violations related to untimely or poor-quality snow removal in courtyards have been identified in the city. Of these, more than 2,800 were rectified on time, and 1,086 cases proceeded to administrative proceedings.
Since the beginning of winter, 73 administrative proceedings have been initiated in the Nizhegorodsky District. In second place is the Sovetsky District with 55 cases. Following are the Prioksky, Kanavinsky, and Leninsky districts. The fewest remarks were recorded in the Avtozavodsky District.
Special attention during snowfalls, according to Buzin, was paid to the work of management companies and homeowners associations (HOA). Microdistricts with dense residential development were under control, as snow was not always removed promptly there.
