New LTE connection launched for dachas near Ussuriysk
A base station has been launched in Utyosnoye. This is the very place near Ussuriysk where people go to their dachas in summer and on weekends to «recharge».
Engineers from Megafon took on the launch of LTE infrastructure. Previously, the operator«s connection in Utyosnoye reached from distant base stations, leading to poor voice call quality and slow, unstable internet.
After the equipment launch, internet and connection have become more stable and accessible in the settlement.
The village is popular among residents of Ussuriysk: individual housing construction is developing here, a recreation base operates, and in the warm season, dacha owners come. Nearby is an unusual tourist spot — a five-meter statue of Buddha. Now in this location, one can not only walk and take photos but also immediately share shots by sending photos and videos in messengers and social networks, and use navigation and online services.

Besides Utyosnoye, LTE coverage has also appeared in the village of Zharikovo in Pogranichny District. For residents of this settlement, the network launch has become a step towards more stable connection and expanded access to digital services.
