New claims of 12 billion rubles filed against Chubais
Another enforcement proceeding has been initiated against Anatoly Chubais over a lawsuit from the state corporation Rosnano for about 12 billion rubles (approximately $120 million at current rates). Twelve other former company executives have been brought into the case.

The court has initiated another enforcement proceeding against former Rosnano head Anatoly Chubais based on an application from the state corporation. Besides him, 12 other former company executives are named as defendants in the case.
A protective arrest has been imposed on Chubais«s bank accounts for 11.9 billion rubles (approximately $119 million at current rates). Rosnano has made similar financial claims against a number of former top managers, including Yuri Udaltsov, Vladimir Avetisyan, Dmitry Pimkin, and Andrei Kushnarev.
Previously, at the end of 2025, a property seizure proceeding had already been initiated against Chubais based on a separate lawsuit from the state corporation.
On December 12, 2025, Rosnano filed a lawsuit against the former management over the Crocus magnetoresistive random-access memory development project. The corporation acknowledged that during the project«s implementation, risks to protecting the interests of the state and the state company were not taken into account.
In April 2025, bailiffs initiated the first enforcement proceeding against Chubais and seven other individuals. The lawsuit sought compensation for losses of 3.892 billion rubles (approximately $38.9 million at current rates) and $20.4 million under the project to create flexible tablets.
Anatoly Chubais headed the Rosnano board in 2008 and led the corporation until December 2020. The last published data on his income dates back to 2014, when he received 207.4 million rubles (approximately $2.07 million at current rates).
