New Chief Physician Anna Ratnikova at Former MChS-122

Anna Ratnikova, familiar to staff of the former MChS-122, has taken the post of chief physician at the Sokolov North-Western District Scientific Clinical Center. She was introduced to the team on July 21. Previously, she worked at this medical facility as a cardiologist in the emergency department, and on the center«s website she is listed as a research fellow in the scientific department. Additionally, since 2021, she has been managing the resort »First Line. Health Care Resort«. Anna Ratnikova is the wife of Vyacheslav Ratnikov, who previously served as the center»s medical director.

After Veronika Skvortsova moved from the post of Minister of Health to the position of head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) in 2020, a regular change of leadership began at two of the agency«s medical centers in St. Petersburg. The reason was that the previous leaders had reached the maximum age limit. In place of Russian Academy of Sciences academician Yuri Lobzin, who headed the Research Institute of Childhood Infections (now the Children»s Scientific Clinical Center for Infectious Diseases), his deputy Alexander Uskov was appointed. And the director of MChS-122, Yakov Nakatis, was replaced by former chairman of the healthcare committee Valery Kolabutin. His deputy for medical affairs became Vyacheslav Ratnikov, who previously held the position of Nakatis«s deputy.

In 2025, Vyacheslav Ratnikov became the general director of the Scientific Clinical Center for Infectious Diseases. At the Sokolov North-Western District Scientific Clinical Center, the position of medical director was abolished. Only the post of chief physician remained, which Viktor Gorelov had held in recent years. Now, with the arrival of Anna Ratnikova, the circle is complete: the former MChS-122 has a new chief physician with a familiar surname.
