The Murmansk region government approved a decree on July 17 for comprehensive development of the Zhilstroy residential area, covering six streets and planning 180,000 sq m of housing.

The Government of the Murmansk region approved a decree on July 17 on comprehensive development of the residential area in Zhilstroy.

«The document defines the parameters for implementing housing construction projects in the regional center and creates a legal basis for its further development,» the government said.
The project covers the streets of Aleksey Generalov, Dekabristov, Zelyonaya, Marata, Frunze, and Khalturina. It plans to build at least 180,000 square meters of housing. The construction of modern buildings and maintenance of social, transport, and utility infrastructure are envisaged. The project will be implemented in stages until the end of 2036.
