As a result of operational work, police solved the theft of 120,000 rubles ($1,300 at current rates) committed through unauthorized access to a bank card. The incident occurred on 1 February. The victim, born in 1982, left his card with an acquaintance and later discovered messages on his phone about deductions. When he returned to the woman with suspicions, she categorically denied involvement. During investigative measures, police established that a woman born in 1976 was involved. She knew the PIN code because she had previously used the card for purchases in stores.
On 1 February, in order to avoid being captured by ATM surveillance cameras, the suspect asked her acquaintance to withdraw cash from the stolen card. She hoped to evade responsibility in this way. The woman was taken to the police station, where she confessed. Currently, the criminal activity is being documented, and after the investigation is completed, a procedural decision will be made.
