Mikhailovsky district found violations in demolition acceptance

The Mikhailovsky District Prosecutor«s Office checked compliance with legislation on the contract system in the field of procurement for state and municipal needs.

During the supervisory measures, it was established that after the completion of work on dismantling and demolishing emergency apartment buildings, carried out under a concluded municipal contract, the contractor did not remove the construction debris from the site, which indicated improper performance of obligations. Despite the identified deficiencies, the work under the contract was accepted and paid for by the municipality.

Based on the results of the inspection, the prosecutor initiated an administrative case against the responsible official of the district administration under Part 7 of Article 7.30.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for acceptance of goods, works or services in violation of the procedure established by law.

Currently, the violations have been eliminated and the construction debris has been removed.
