Committee for Construction

In 2026, Metrostroy Severnoy Stolitsy intends to begin construction of two stations on the green metro line — Bogatyrskaya and Kamenka. The company will also prepare for the construction of a section of the purple line.

The plans, announced at a meeting of the city government, include:

  • completing the excavation of the twin-track tunnel on the green line and beginning earthworks at the Bogatyrskaya and Kamenka stations;
  • driving 4.3 km of tunnels on the brown line from Putilovskaya to Karetnaya and equipping two shafts;
  • driving one tunnel from Karetnaya to the future Ligovsky Prospekt-2 station;
  • beginning preparation of construction sites for the purple line from Komendantsky Prospekt to Kolomyazhskaya, together with a depot;
  • preparing the site for the Krasnoselskoye depot;
  • beginning design work on the exit from Teatralnaya station.

Where exactly the exit will appear is not specified in the presentation — it states «according to the chosen location». The location has been changed several times: initially, the exit was planned near the consumer services building on Lermontovsky Prospekt, then it was moved to the pool of NSU named after Lesgaft (Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health), and later — to Temirkanov Square.
