Magnitogorsk pensioner recovers 295,000 rubles ($3,200) via court
The prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of Magnitogorsk secured the recovery of 295,000 rubles ($3,200) from the account owner to whom fraudsters had transferred the money of a 72-year-old local resident.

In autumn 2025, a 72-year-old resident of Magnitogorsk, believing fraudsters, transferred 295,000 rubles ($3,200) to the account they specified under the pretext of investments. During the investigation of the criminal case, it turned out that these funds went to a resident of Chelyabinsk.
The prosecutor of the Leninsky district of Magnitogorsk filed a lawsuit with the Leninsky District Court of Chelyabinsk to recover unjust enrichment. The court fully granted the claim, ordering the account owner to return 295,000 rubles ($3,200). The execution of the court ruling was placed under the prosecutor«s office»s supervision.
