Lipetsk SKR Officer Wins Silver in Swimming at Qualifier

The qualifying stage of the All-Russian Spartakiad of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (SKR), timed to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the agency, was held in Kaluga. The competition among teams from the Central Federal District involved more than 260 athletes from 15 regional investigative directorates. Over five days, medals were awarded in seven disciplines: mini-football, volleyball, basketball, athletics, swimming, table tennis, and chess.

In the individual swimming competition, a representative of the Lipetsk Region distinguished herself. Karina Korobova, who holds the position of Deputy Head of the Investigative Department for the Oktyabrsky District of Lipetsk, won a silver medal.

This is the third consecutive year that an employee of the regional directorate has achieved such a result at the agency’s competitions. Such consistency speaks not only to high physical fitness but also to qualities such as determination, discipline, and willpower, which are extremely important for SKR employees in carrying out their official duties.

«Working for results is helped by self-discipline, which is cultivated by the profession. An investigator must always be self-organized, disciplined, and meticulous in preparation for any case. It is these qualities that allow achieving goals both in service and in sports. At the same time, there is always room for improvement,» shared Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Karina Korobova.

The staff of the Investigative Directorate of the SKR for the Lipetsk Region congratulated their colleague on her commendable performance, wishing her new sporting and professional victories.
