Leonid Parfenov Voiced Videos About Yekaterinburg's Historical Cafe

Videos about the Yekaterinburg «Grand Buffet Yekaterinburg» were voiced by renowned journalist and documentary filmmaker Leonid Parfenov. They were filmed by Ivan Pshenin, the author of the documentary about Yekaterinburg restaurants «Vkusovshchina» (18+).

Parfenov talks about the historical cafe near Yekaterinburg«s main square, where a century and a half ago the first apartment buildings and gastronomic establishments appeared.

The «Buffet» has many artifacts — square coins from the Yekaterinburg Mint, a copy of an old city map, display cases with photographs from past eras, paintings with Ural landscapes, and portraits of prominent residents. For city guests, there is a small shop with souvenirs: collections of Ural teas, Belgian chocolate in the shape of antique coins, and homemade tinctures.

The cafe«s menu includes: legendary Sverdlovsk layered pastries, croissants, omelets made from Irbit eggs, broth-filled pies, Ural dumplings, coffee, teas, and oatmeal jellies.
