In Novosibirsk, a kindergarten on Vladimir Zarovny Street near Bolshevistskaya will be built by private companies. This was reported by the press center of the city administration in response to a query from NGS.
“The mayor’s office has decided to attract extra-budgetary funding sources for the construction of this facility under the mechanism of integrated territorial development,” explained the Department of Construction and Architecture.
The first construction permit for the kindergarten was issued in 2022. At that time, the construction cost was estimated at 400 million rubles (approximately $4.4 million at current rates). In July 2026, it became known that the facility would be built by a company that will begin developing a site under the integrated territorial development project (KRT) on the plot between Obskaya, Zakavkazskaya streets and Berdsky Pereulok. After that, the developer will transfer the building to the municipality free of charge.
“At the same time, the construction is planned to be carried out with the involvement of other developers by the Novosibirsk mayor’s office to finance 93 educational places,” noted the press center of the Novosibirsk mayor’s office.
The kindergarten building is designed for 265 children. The construction timeline will become known after the conditions for implementing the KRT are formed. Currently, only a draft resolution on the development of the site has been published; it may be amended.
In Novosibirsk, by mid-2028, a building for School No. 189 on Vybornaya Street is to be built. It can accommodate 825 children.
