Kasli Resident Fined for Fictitious Foreigner Registration
A 23-year-old resident of Kasli (Chelyabinsk region) has been convicted for the fictitious registration of three foreign citizens in her home in the village of Tyubuk.

The Kasli City Court delivered a verdict for a 23-year-old local resident. She was found guilty under Articles 322.2 (fictitious registration of a foreigner at the place of residence) and 322.3 (fictitious registration at the place of stay) of the Russian Criminal Code.
It was established that the woman, being the owner of a residential property in the village of Tyubuk, registered three foreign citizens at the place of residence and temporary stay for a fee. In reality, they did not live there.
The court imposed a fine of 120,000 rubles (at current exchange rates, approximately $1,200). In addition, the prosecutor«s claim was satisfied: the convicted woman was ordered to repay 18,000 rubles (at current exchange rates, approximately $180) obtained illegally.
The seizure of property imposed during the preliminary investigation—a dishwasher and a television—was upheld. The verdict has already entered into legal force.
