Iset River overflows; Yekaterinburg residents swim in floodwater

After torrential rains, the Iset River in central Yekaterinburg has overflowed so much that it now covers the entire walkway. On 21 July, a man was seen diving in the floodwater.

In Yekaterinburg, hot weather has set in after heavy downpours. The water level in the Iset has risen, and residents are going for swims. On 21 July, a man was seen diving in the river — on the embankment between Kuibyshev and Dekabristov streets, where the pedestrian walkway used to be.
