The next stage of hydraulic tests begins in Irkutsk on July 27. Hot water will be shut off in homes on nearly 50 streets. The heat network operator reports this.
Preparation for the heating season will begin on the evening of June 26 — the coolant temperature will be gradually reduced to 40°C (104°F).
From 08:00 on July 27 to 17:00 on August 6, there will be no hot water. During these days, workers will inspect equipment and, if necessary, repair it.
«Hydraulic tests help to identify weak spots in pipelines in advance, to avoid major accidents and shutdowns in winter when hot water is especially important,» the statement says.
The shutdown affects homes on Baikalskaya, Karl Liebknecht, Sovetskaya, Piskunova, and Trilissera streets, and others. See the full list of addresses in the cards prepared by the heat network operator.
