Irina Neboga Loses Cancer Battle at Age 21
Millions of subscribers, huge audience support, a great future in blogging could have awaited the Novokuznetsk native — Irina Neboga, if not for cancer. Difficult Childhood
Ira Neboga was born in 2004 in Novokuznetsk, where she lived until age 17. Her mother worked as a realtor and was interested in design, and her father was a miner at a local mine, and later started his own business. However, the girl reluctantly recalled him and said that he often drank alcohol and was a “difficult” person.
As Irina said, because of her father, her childhood cannot be called simple. In one interview, she talked about a deep addiction to illegal substances that formed at age 13. The future media personality also noted that she literally lived for several years in a den with other teenagers, where she once had an overdose.
Neboga was able to get rid of the addiction only after she was diagnosed with “Ewing’s sarcoma” at age 17.
Becoming an Internet Star
The first and terrible pains in her leg the girl felt at age 16. It turned out that the cause was developing cancer at stage 2. Irina did not know what to do with the diagnosis, even wanted not to start treatment due to fear, but in the end decided on therapy.
It was a difficult time: quitting drugs, constant procedures, endless pains. The future blogger could not imagine how to get out of this state. Then one of her friends suggested creating a page on the growing popular TikTok and starting to shoot videos. And so it happened. Soon, ironic videos about cancer began to gain millions of views.
The audience reacted calmly to Irina’s past and loved the girl for her sincerity and fearlessness, so there was so much support that Neboga decided to fight to the end. In total, she required 14 courses of chemotherapy and a complex operation on her thigh bone. Within a year, she was told that the cancer had receded, and the disease went into remission.
“I Was Not Afraid”
After that, Ira lived for three years under constant medical supervision. However, this did not prevent her from finding love, starting to travel, and engaging in sports.
But in 2024, an 8-centimeter (about 3 inches) formation was discovered in her skull at stage four. As Neboga told, the case was immediately called hopeless. Irina did not believe it and began intensively undergoing another course of therapy. And again luck — remission.
Even during the fight with the illness, the blogger did not abandon her subscribers and continued to share all information about her recovery with them. Besides producing content, she painted pictures, recorded tracks, and created her own clothing brand.
In autumn 2025, she told her audience that the results of the latest research were discouraging, and she even considered leaving social media. It turned out that metastases had appeared again.
Unfortunately, Irina did not withstand the third fight with cancer and died surrounded by family and friends. This was written in the Telegram channel on her behalf, probably by close ones.
