Construction is in full swing in every district of Ufa—here and there, the towers of cranes are visible in the sky. But which one can be called the main one? The UFA1.RU editorial team is sure: the most large-scale project at the moment is the construction of the second phase of the interuniversity campus of the Eurasian Research and Education Center (EREC) on Zaki Validi Street. Especially for you, our photographer climbed to the heights to capture the most epic shots. You haven«t seen the campus from these angles yet.
Photographers explore the site wearing protective hard hats as required by safety rules.

The «construction of the century» began less than a year ago—in March 2025. Today the building has already taken on its future shape.

The building will consist of seven towers ranging from 10 to 29 floors in height. All of them will be connected to each other and stand in a circle, resembling a flower. It will be possible to enter both through separate entrances and through the already completed section of the campus, which «faces» Zaki Validi Street.
One of the seven towers takes shape, its steel framework rising dozens of meters.

From above, one can already appreciate the appearance, scale, and concept. All work is being carried out in parallel: one team is already installing the facade, another continues the construction, and a third is assembling furniture for the selection of the future interior.
The interior currently consists of raw concrete floors and structural columns.

The pace of construction is quite high. Although, according to local workers, when you are constantly on site, it seems that progress is very slow.
Crews press on with their tasks despite freezing temperatures and strong winds.

Of course, there is still a lot of work ahead; the towers themselves are only beginning to grow. Let us remind you that the project«s budget is 27.4 billion rubles (approximately $304 million at current rates), with funding also attracted from VTB Bank. The completion of construction is planned for December 2027. The complex will house dormitories, laboratory buildings, sports facilities, recreation areas, catering establishments, and underground parking.
An overview shows the current scale, with the towers set to rise much higher.
