Flight delay strands Yekaterinburg residents at Koltsovo, risks vacation

At Koltsovo, the departure of a flight to Sharm el-Sheikh has been postponed by a day — the passengers were supposed to start their vacation tonight, January 20, at 04:55. The departure time has already been changed twice. This concerns flight N4-3357 operated by the airline Nordwind.

«First the plane was delayed until 8 a.m., then they announced until 04:20 the next day. Now the departure is scheduled for January 21 at 08:00. Nordwind only says one thing: preparation for the flight is underway,» an E1.RU reader complained indignantly.
The press service of Koltsovo airport did not comment on the reasons for the delay. The E1.RU editorial office has contacted Nordwind«s press service. The news will be updated once a response is received.
Updated: The airline has responded, stating that the delay of flight N4‑3357 occurred due to a technical issue with the aircraft.
It is worth noting that since January 20, Yekaterinburg residents traveling with children cannot fly abroad without an important document.
Meanwhile, in Yekaterinburg, the controversy over the red seal has not subsided for months. The stamp on the birth certificate will now be required not only on airplanes — the stamp confirming Russian citizenship is now also necessary when transporting children by train if purchasing a discounted ticket for the child.
