EMERCOM Reports 13 Fires, One Death in Ulyanovsk Region
Last week, 13 fires occurred in the Ulyanovsk Region, leaving one person dead and another injured. 130 people were evacuated, and EMERCOM crews responded to 27 traffic accidents.

Last week, 13 fires were recorded in the residential sector of the region. One person died, one was injured, and rescuers evacuated 130 people. The main causes of the fires were faulty electrical equipment and careless handling of fire.
On July 16, a fire broke out in an administrative building on Polbina Street in the Zasviyazhsky District of Ulyanovsk (Ulyanovsk Region). A 60-year-old man died as a result. The fire destroyed interior finishes and used items over an area of three square meters in one room, and neighboring rooms were covered in soot. The cause of the fire is being determined.
No incidents on water bodies were recorded. Specialists continue to investigate the circumstances of the fires. EMERCOM units responded to 27 traffic accidents and provided necessary assistance.
