Direct flights from St. Petersburg to Morocco have begun
Pulkovo Airport has launched regular direct flights to Casablanca. The first plane landed on January 21.

On January 21, Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg received its first direct flight from Morocco. From this day, air service between the cities will become regular — three times a week.
A Boeing 737-800 aircraft is used for the new direct flights between St. Petersburg and Casablanca.
Flights to Casablanca will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Departure from Pulkovo is scheduled for 8:05 a.m., and flight time will be 5 hours and 40 minutes.
For transportation, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft is used, which can accommodate up to 160 passengers.
As stated by Pulkovo«s Director of Aviation Commerce Asiyat Khalvashi, the airport plans to expand its route network in Africa. »In the future, we plan to develop transportation in the region, including opening flights to Ethiopia and Algeria, as well as increasing frequencies to Egypt and Tunisia,« she said.
