With support from the Melnichenko Foundation and EuroChem-VolgaKaliy, a new phase of development of Aksayskaya Dubrava begins. This became possible thanks to winning the All-Russian competition for the best projects to create a comfortable urban environment within the framework of the national project «Infrastructure for Life» in 2025.

The park has already established itself as a key public space in the city and a favorite leisure spot for all residents of Kotelnikovo (Volgograd Oblast, Russia). The territory of Aksayskaya Dubrava regularly hosts cultural and sports activities, concerts, and exhibitions that unite different generations of townspeople.

«The development of a comfortable urban environment is an important part of our social agenda,» noted Sergey Shiryaev, General Director of EuroChem-VolgaKaliy. «The park has become a real center of attraction, and we are glad to participate in its development.»

Construction of the third phase is aimed at further expanding the park«s recreational capabilities: it plans to create new walking areas, additional venues for events, and places for family recreation. The park will expand by 4.3 hectares, and the green area by 27,000 square meters. New sports and children»s playgrounds, a stage, and additional parking spaces will appear. Particularly noteworthy is the Grove of Heroes — a memorial landscape composition that unites the memory of past and present deeds with the natural aesthetics of Aksayskaya Dubrava.

Special attention in the design solution is given to preserving the natural landscape and landscaping the area — in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and environmental responsibility shared by VolgaKaliy and the Melnichenko Foundation.

«Modern public spaces have long ceased to be just places for walks. They shape the recognizable image of a city and become its landmarks, harmoniously combining natural features and design elements. At the same time, it is important to create spaces that are equally in demand for family recreation, sports, and city events. The new stage of development of Aksayskaya Dubrava will make the park larger and more comfortable while preserving its natural character,» added Tatyana Zhuravleva, General Director of the Melnichenko Foundation.
