Chita to celebrate Student Day with ice sports festival

The traditional «Student Night» (16+) will take place in Chita on January 25 — students from Transbaikal universities are invited to the Ice Palace by 7:30 PM. This was reported on January 20 on the official portal of the region, citing Vice-Premier of the Transbaikal government, Victoria Bessonova.

«This year, in honor of Russian Student Day, we will hold a large student sports and wellness festival. On the ice arena, not only students from all universities in the region will gather, but also employees of the Ministry of Health, the Department of Labor and Employment of Transbaikal. All interested will be able to undergo free medical examinations and learn about job opportunities in the region,» said Victoria Bessonova.

In addition, competitions will be held on the ice where students can demonstrate their skills in figure skating, hockey, and other winter sports.
