The organizers prepared a rich program for the city«s guests: creative performances, interactive areas, master classes, consultations with specialized experts, and targeted assistance on various issues.
The festival, held on the initiative of Governor Alexei Teksler, is a unique format combining useful services, live communication with experts, and a family celebration. The slogan for 2026 — «Alongside everyone, for the common good!» — reflects the essence: public services should be accessible at the place of residence.
Minister of Culture of Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Betehtin noted: «The festival «Chelyabinsk Region – Big Family» is unique and is held only in our region. In Chebarkul we reached the midpoint — 22 more localities are ahead. It is very pleasant to see how with the growth of the number of venues, people«s interest also grows: the residents of the Southern Urals gladly accept this project, actively participate in the programs and seek support. This proves its demand and social significance for each municipality.»
At one venue, representatives of 23 ministries, departments, and institutions worked. For the first time, experts from the Social Fund of Russia, the tax service, and the MFC (Multifunctional Center) joined the festival. Residents could get on-site consultations on document processing, payments, accruals, and benefits. During the day, it was also possible to undergo a medical examination, receive recommendations from doctors and lawyers, and consult specialists on housing and communal services, education, and social protection. A separate area was organized for participants of the Special Military Operation (SVO) and their families.
The housing and communal services tent was especially popular, where citizens could directly ask questions to specialists and get advice on landscaping, territory maintenance, gas supply, and housing maintenance.
The festive part of the program included the presentation of first passports to young Chebarkul residents, awarding GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense) badges, and honoring married couples who have lived together for over 50 years. They were awarded the «Family Happiness» badge. The head of the district, Vladimir Pupyrev, and Minister of Culture Alexei Betehtin congratulated one such couple.
The festival also showcased the development of social infrastructure in Chebarkul. Recently, a family MFC opened here, where families can get help in a «one-stop shop» format — from initial consultation to support in difficult life situations. A youth space «Kvadrat» appeared with programs on patriotic education, creativity, career guidance, and volunteering. In the near future, the city plans to open a model library and the «Volna» cinema.
The children«s library named after V. Mayakovsky presented the project »Big Family World« with summer master classes, the interactive area »LitTourCultural«, and the tabletop theater »Theatrical Kaleidoscope«. The Chelyabinsk State Historical Museum of the Southern Urals brought a tablet exhibition »Centuries at Your Fingertips«, and the historical park »Russia – My History« introduced guests to the exhibition »Rurikids – Romanovs« and a VR program.
Festival guests joined a flash mob in honor of the State Flag of the Russian Federation. The evening ended with a performance by the Chelyabinsk cover band «Maybach», which played popular hits.
