Bus driver lost after St Petersburg crash
An accident involving a bus occurred at the intersection of Kultury and Lunacharskogo avenues in St. Petersburg. After the crash, the driver questioned his whereabouts and route.

In St. Petersburg, at the intersection of Kultury and Lunacharskogo avenues, bus route No. 271, operated by Vest-Service, collided with a passenger car. After the incident, the bus driver expressed confusion about his location and how he ended up there.

According to Alexander, who was driving a Ravon Gentra, the accident occurred on 1 February at 19:56. He was driving along Kultury Avenue and changed to the right lane, where turning is allowed. According to video footage, the bus also attempted a similar maneuver but from the middle lane, above which hangs a sign permitting only straight travel. Meanwhile, the bus had its left turn signal on, which led to the collision.

Immediately after the incident, the bus driver said: «And where is [Kultury Avenue]? ... And where did I come from to get here? ... Ahh, oh, *** [darn]. I was supposed to turn here from there, but I drove past. ... I don«t even know where I»m going.»

It is known that at the time of the accident the bus was traveling along Kultury Avenue from the direction of Severny Avenue, which does not correspond to its regular route. Besides the driver, there was one passenger in the vehicle. Representatives of the carrier were asked to comment on the incident.
