Budyonnovsky District Evacuates Children Over School Bomb Threats

Alarming information continues to arrive in the Stavropol region. A bomb threat was reported at schools in the Budyonnovsky District.

District head Dmitry Bogdanov said that for safety reasons, students and staff were quickly evacuated from city schools No. 1, 2, 4, 10, gymnasiums No. 7, 9, and lyceum No. 8.

Also included in the list:

School No. 1 in the village of Pokoinoye;

No. 2 in the village of Krasny Oktyabr;

No. 4 in Novaya Zhizn;

No. 7 in Starodubskoye;

No. 8 in the settlement of Katason;

No. 9 in Tolstovo-Vasyukovskoye;

No. 11 in Praskoveya;

No. 12 in Terek.

“At the moment, law enforcement agencies are working on the scene. I ask you to understand the security measures — a clear protocol is in effect in such situations. I am keeping the situation under my personal control,” the district head noted on his social media.

Unfortunately, a similar situation has occurred in Essentuki, Lermontov, and Kislovodsk. Children are also being evacuated from several educational institutions there.
