After a series of publications by the city media YA62.RU about the condition of public spaces in Ryazan, the city«s mayor, Boris Yasinsky, conducted an inspection of urban areas.

He announced this on his VKontakte page. The official said that during the event, problematic issues were recorded — dry and broken branches, trees needing pruning, sagging wires, as well as damaged road signs and fencing elements that require either repair or removal. The city head ordered these issues to be resolved promptly.

Near the Margelov Square, in addition to removing deadwood, Yasinsky ordered to tidy up the curbs, remove sand from the roadside, and level a traffic light pole. In Kremlin Square, it is necessary to put trash containers in order, trim trees, restore sections of lawn, mow grass, as well as paint the staircase and wash the sidewalk along the embankment. A separate task is to repair the fountain near the chapel, where two nozzles are not working.

On Lybed Boulevard, it is necessary to repair benches and the staircase, as well as paint the handrails on the stairs. The mayor also noted graffiti on facades and ordered to restore them to a normal appearance. At sports facilities, it is necessary to replace the basketball hoop, repair the net on the basketball and football courts, and fix the trampolines.

In Nizhny Park (Lower Park), the top priority is to connect the toilets so that everything works properly. In addition, there are also many dry branches and areas that need to be mowed. In Lesopark (Forest Park), a cleanup day was ordered: it is necessary to simultaneously remove trash and tidy up green areas, especially on the territory up to the bridge. Also, in the near future, damaged trash bins need to be replaced and the issue of expanding the entrance to the parking lot needs to be addressed.

«I expect a report from the responsible services on the execution of the orders,» wrote Boris Yasinsky.
