Australian Boy Shocked by Ussuriysk Buildings

A boy from Australia flew to Ussuriysk with his mother and older brother and was greatly surprised by the condition of the city«s buildings. He said they look as if they are about to fall apart.

The video was published by a woman named Alina. She was born and raised in Vladivostok, but in 2008 she and her husband went to New Zealand on student visas and decided to stay there. Later, Alina divorced her husband, and for the past two years she has been living in Australia with her two sons.

Recently, the woman decided to return to her native Primorsky Krai for the first time in a long while. Her older child had already been to Russia, while the younger one found himself here for the first time. His reaction to the state of the buildings in Ussuriysk spread on social media — they seemed old and frightening to him.

“Everything looks so old, like it«s about to collapse. Look at this. And look at that tower over there. It looks like it»s about to come down any second,” the boy said.

Some commenters wrote that Australia surely has buildings in no better condition either, while others agreed with the child.

“If only he knew what the wiring and plumbing are like there. It«s funny, of course, but if you think about it — it»s sad,” a user named Vlad wrote.

“He hasn«t been in the stairwells or hospitals yet,” odobo commented.
