26 July: Alcohol Sale Ban in Lipetsk
On Sunday, 26 July, a ban on retail alcohol sales is introduced in Lipetsk due to two mass events.

The restriction is linked to a rally-concert for Navy Day and the chariot festival «Ratha Yatra».
The rally-concert will take place on 26 July from 10:00 to 12:00 on Peter the Great Square. The chariot festival will be held from 15:00 to 19:00 at 18 Osipenko Street, on the grounds in front of the House of Music.
The ban applies to shops and catering outlets located within 100 meters of these event venues. The basis is Article 16, Part 2, Clause 8 of Federal Law No. 171-FZ, which prohibits the sale of alcohol in places of mass gathering during events.
