26 Intoxicated Drivers Detained in Three Days in Kirov Region
In the Kirov Region, over three days (July 17–19), 26 intoxicated drivers were detained, and a total of 20 accidents occurred with 31 injured.

Between July 17 and 19, 2026, 20 road traffic accidents were recorded on the roads of the Kirov Region. 31 people received injuries of varying severity.
During the same period, traffic police officers suppressed 829 violations of traffic rules. Among them are 26 drivers who drove while intoxicated or refused a medical examination, as well as 54 motorists who did not have a license or were deprived of it.
The regional traffic police reminded that driving while intoxicated is unacceptable. This offense carries a fine of 45,000 rubles (approximately $500 at current exchange rates) and license suspension for a period of one and a half to two years.
