Volgograd Cook Shares Sun-Dried Tomato Recipe

How do you serve sun-dried tomatoes?
A home cook from the Leninsky district of the Volgograd region has shared a simple recipe for sun-dried tomatoes. If you don«t know how to quickly and usefully process a huge number of tomatoes, try following Anna Zlydneva»s step-by-step instructions. Combined with bread and cream cheese, it makes an ideally tasty breakfast or snack.
For preparation you will need: tomatoes, salt, olive or sunflower oil, spices, garlic.
“We washed the tomatoes and cut them in half. If they are large, then into quarters. Meaty, firm tomatoes are ideal. Ours are the «cream» variety. You can dry them for an average of 5-6 hours at a temperature of 55-65 degrees. You can add spices right away, but we do it differently,” says Anna. “Our tomatoes dried for 9 hours. In small jars, we lay the tomatoes in the first layer, then a little garlic, and repeat several times. Add a teaspoon of salt and Provencal herbs to olive oil, based on 200 ml of oil. Mix it all, put it on the fire and bring to a boil, but do not boil. Instead of olive oil, you can use sunflower oil. Or mix them. Pour it over the jars and close with a lid. After cooling, put them in the refrigerator. In three days, you can make sandwiches.”
Earlier, a beautiful blogger from a small farm in the Frolovsky district, “Vika from the farm,” told how to make lightly salted cucumbers on mineral water. Victoria admitted: they flew off the festive table at her birthday party instantly! It cooks quickly and deliciously, and turns out incredibly tasty and crunchy!
