Two Samara restaurants have reached the finals of the prestigious Russian Hospitality Awards. They are among 90 finalists from 28 participating cities. In total, 518 restaurants from 56 Russian cities competed for the title of best this year.

This year the awards feature 18 categories. Restaurants apply on their own. Only those that passed three selection stages made it to the finals: rating on the TrustYou AI platform for the hospitality industry (20% of participants are eliminated at this stage), jury evaluations (40% are cut), and checks by «secret guests» (another 40% are weeded out).

The Samara establishments made it in two categories. «Vashche Ogon» is vying for the title of best meat restaurant. It is competing against four other establishments from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Perm, according to the awards statement. «Dom Nino» is among the finalists in the «Best Caucasian Cuisine Restaurant» category. It will compete for the title in this category against two Moscow and two Kazan restaurants.

Read our honest review of the restaurant «Vashche Ogon». We gave it a 7.5/10. Almost all the dishes ordered were tasty, the service was good, but the smell in the toilet greatly spoiled the impression of the place.
