Ingredients:
chicken liver — 400 g;
onion — 1;
egg — 1;
flour — 3–4 tbsp;
milk — 50 ml;
salt, pepper — to taste;
vegetable oil — for frying.

Step-by-step directions explain mixing the batter, shaping portions, and frying to a golden crust.
Preparation:
Rinse the chicken liver thoroughly and pat it dry with a paper towel.
Peel the onion and chop it finely, or blitz it with the liver in a blender.
In a bowl, combine the liver and onion, add the egg, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Gradually add the flour to achieve a thick batter with the usual fritter consistency.
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil and spoon in small portions of batter.
Fry the fritters over medium heat on both sides until golden — about 3–4 minutes per side.
Transfer the cooked fritters to a paper towel to blot excess oil.
Serve chicken liver fritters with a sour cream and herb sauce or a light garlic sauce. Fresh vegetables or salads are also a great match.
