Simple Skillet Cake Recipe in 30 Minutes from Barnaul Resident

A classic, quick, and most importantly, delicious and seemingly slightly forgotten recipe for the «Minutka» cake was reminded to the NGS22.RU editorial by Barnaul resident Taisiya Kozhevnikova. We are sharing a simple recipe for a skillet cake in 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
- Chicken eggs – 3 pieces;
- Wheat flour – 4 tablespoons;
- Condensed milk – 1 can;
- Vanillin – 1 teaspoon;
- Milk – 500 ml;
- Butter – 200 grams;
- Sugar – one and a half cups.
How to cook:
For the cake dough, mix all ingredients (one egg, condensed milk, baking powder, and flour) in one bowl. Divide the dough into 8 pieces, roll out one of them to a diameter slightly larger than the skillet, and immediately place it on a heated skillet. Your layers will fry very quickly, so flip after one minute. Then, after another minute, remove and trim the edges for a more even shape of the final cake—these trimmings will later be used for sprinkling.
For the cream, mix all ingredients (two egg yolks, sugar, milk, and a little flour) except butter, place on heat to thicken, and stir actively. At the end, add butter to the hot cream, but this is not mandatory. Spread the warm cream on the layers, and sprinkle the top and sides with crushed crumbs, then let the cake sit for several hours to soak. The filling can be anything—add bananas, nuts, or chocolate to taste.
