A coffee shop chain from Rostov has made it to the finals of the prestigious Russian Hospitality Awards — 2025 for hoteliers and restaurateurs. Here«s which one.
The Russian Hospitality Awards is an award in the hotel and restaurant business sector, held since 2014. Establishments from all over Russia take part.
In total, 518 restaurants from 56 cities participated in the award this year. Sample Coffee made it to the nomination for «Best Coffee Shop.» This is a specialty coffee shop chain with four establishments in Rostov. The history of Sample Coffee began with a mobile coffee shop, which the founder Vladimir Tkachev opened in 2014. He worked alone for the first three years.
Rostov has reached the award finals before. Based on 2024 results, ARKA Hotel by Ginza Project was a finalist for «Best City Hotel 4*», opening in 2019 on Bolshaya Sadovaya Street. Old House Resort, located in the khutor (village) of Ust-Koysug, was a finalist for «Best Luxury Hotel».
